IN:SE playfullness

IN:SE products represent the playful aspect of Studio Ideeklaas' work.
Each of these items has its own story. They're emotionally charged products 'in itself' - in se.
Our studio is located on the island of Hiiumaa (Estonia), which has been referred to as one of the places with the cleanest air in the world. The brilliant colors of its nature, the local islanders with their renowned common sense and slightly bizarre sense of humor have had a strong impact on the creation process.
These qualities are also reflected in the IN:SE series.
The islanders' characteristic love of DIY and recycling, their quirky and resourceful spirit - all recharge one's batteries with a boost of positive energy. As designers, we strive to convey and multiply that life-force. Our main idea and motivation is to create emotionally charged items 'in se'
'In se' is also an anagram of the designers' surname Sein.
'InPin' - a  re-use of useless unused soviet-era test tubes, meant for keeping / wearing sweet memories, or just a piece of nature, with you.  You can also find InPin's in Estonian Design House web-shop - InPin by Kalli Sein

Emotions in glass. Bowl InYin - like global balance shaken out of sync, staring at you from its tabletop perch.
Small glass plate 'InSpring', a springtime flatfish - Baltic sea flatfish gets so thin by springtime, that it starts to shine through.

Bowls 'STRIPED' - harmonious combinations of stripes from folk costumes, with an added dose of sunset. Pure nostalgia.
